We are available for same-day appointments if needed.
We also accept most insurance plans including Tricare Prime! If you are not sure if your insurance plan is accepted please call the office for more information.

If you are interested in becoming a patient, would like to find out more about our practice or would like to schedule an appointment please feel free to contact us.

After Hours: We welcome your after-hours call because we understand the worry that comes with a sick child. We also want you to avoid the ER when it is not necessary. We offer this as a free service, but please be aware that we are charged a fee by the answering service every time a call is made. We ask that when you place an after-hours call that you provide a reliable phone number so we can reach you when we return your call. If possible, an alternate contact number is also helpful. Please disable any call blocking, and enable and listen to your voicemail if you miss our return call.

Please call during regular office hours for prescription refills and other non-urgent questions. Just like during regular office hours, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room if you believe that your child has a life-threatening emergency.
After hours for patients: 855-207-2878
Call Poison Control 800-222-1222 for any accidental ingestions.

No-Show Policy

In order to maximize our patient care, we ask that you provide us with no less than 24 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to work in sick children throughout the day who do not have a scheduled appointment.

Late cancellation or no-show fee will be charged to all patients who do not provide 24 hours notice. This fee is not payable by insurance, and is your responsibility.

Know your insurance plan

check your insurance policy for limited benefits such as:

  • Does your plan cover well care visits?
  • Does your plan cover sick visits?
  • Are there restrictions to vaccine coverage?
  • What is your primary care copay & deductible? 100% well check coverage?

If you have changes in your insurance it is important to update this information with us as soon as possible to avoid denials from your insurance company due to timely filing limitations.

Please make sure you add your newborn to your insurance plan within 30 days of birth.

Newborns

Your first visit is typically a well visit. We follow AAP guidelines and would like to see your newborn 1-3 days after hospital discharge. Your physician will check that your baby is starting to gain weight, how your baby is feeding, and look for signs of jaundice.

Well baby visits are typically performed at, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months and 18 months.

Well Checks

During check-ups for all children:

  • Measure height, weight and head circumference (depending on age) and plot them on a growth chart.
  • A body mass index (BMI) is calculated for all children 3 years and older
  • Check body parts and systems
  • Discuss age related expectations and guidance
  • Discuss age appropriate nutrition
  • Discuss schooling(if age appropriate)
  • Fill out forms for daycare/sports

Other concerns that are more complicated and involve more time or expertise such as chronic (prolonged duration) headaches, stomach pains, psychological/school problems, ADHD rechecks, asthma rechecks, or other medical issues usually require a separate code and charge in addition to the check-up. Addressing these concerns during your well check may result in your being charged for a sick visit in addition to your well visit. Your insurance company will apply a copayment/deductible for the sick visit. You may be advised to schedule a separate visit to address any chronic issues.”

Prescription Refills

Please contact our office 1 week in advance for all refills to ensure that we can accommodate your request. Some prescriptions are not refillable without a follow-up appointment due to the nature of the medication or illness.
